Your family is greeted at the airport by a professional guide (who will be holding a sign with your name on it). During your 25 minute drive to Niagara Falls, your guide will familiarize you with the history of the area and answer any questions you may have about the tour.

The rest of the tour follows the itinerary you approved ahead of time.  Tours can include both sides of the border and multiple attractions based upon your wishes.  We’ll provide attraction choices to you in advance, and together we’ll customize an agenda to create a wonderful experience for you.  Your family is returned to the airport with plenty of time to check in and make your return flight.

To save on costs all attractions and meals are not included.  You pay as you go choosing the snacks, meals and attractions that you desire at that time.  Cost estimates include all tolls, fees and gratuities so there are no hidden charges.

The Cheapest Way to See Niagara Falls

The least expensive way to see Niagara Falls is to catch a cab or a shared shuttle from the Buffalo/Niagara Airport. Our fully escorted tour is not the cheapest way to see Niagara, but it is the most fun!  We’ll scoop you up from the airport and return you to the airport based on your flight schedule.  During our tour we do only the things you want.  This is why private tours cost more than group tours.  If you’re flying from New York City (JFK or Laguardia), this is the best way to maximize your brief stay.  Costs for our tours start at $300 and increase based upon the hours of service and the size of your family.

What is the best way to get from New York City to Niagara Falls?

The best way to make the trip from Niagara Falls is by air.  Driving the 400 miles one way will take you about 8 hours of driving.  Amtrak will take you there via rail, and you’ll endure a 9+ hour ride.  Air fare is more expensive, but flight times are about an hour and are frequent.  If you are flying from New York to Niagara Falls, you’ll definitely want to fly into the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.  Do not consider flying to Toronto’s airport, it is farther away and way more expensive.

The Buffalo Niagara Airport is a 25 minute drive from Niagara Falls, and owing to our mediocre economy, is generally traffic free.  The airport is small and easy to navigate (there are only 3 luggage carousels).  The facility is modern, clean and well managed.  There is an information booth at the bottom of the one escalator in the airport and you can find assistance for your travel questions there.  Taxis are regulated here so you’ll have a driver wearing a clean shirt who is likely to speak English.  A typical fare from the Buffalo airport to Niagara Falls, NY is $55 (plus tip) or $65 (plus tip) to go to the Canadian side of the border.

There are various shuttles that allow you to share rides and those run about $45 per person to the US side of the Falls, $55 per person to cross the border.  Public transportation buses can be used, but the routes change by season and various budget cuts.  Check the Metro schedule web site for the most up to date information.
